HR & Recruitment Specialist
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The position is responsible for day-to-day HR general consultation and support for customers. The ideal candidate uses their knowledge of various human resources functions, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to managers and customers in multiple locations. The ideal candidate consults with Managers in the strategic planning process and development, as well as, implementation of human resources strategies that support the business needs. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and uses a wide degree of creativity and latitude in performing duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all HR structure and implementations.
- Assists on the hiring process of the new staff for the company.
- Assists on the preparation of monthly payroll for employees.
- Prepares induction plans for the employees.
- Assess training needs and prepares yearly training plan.
- Maintains and updates role profiles for all company positions.
- Assists in the execution and follows up of the different benefits programs for employees.
- Updates regularly HR policy manual.
- Oversees the development, implementation and monitoring of internal processes
- Controls and tracks costs and budgetary expenditure within approved limits and in line with Delegated Authorities.
- Manages all the Environmental Health & Safety programs.
- Drive performance management processes and align compensation programs with the pay for performance culture.
- Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
- Manages Psychological Assessments and programs for customer needs.
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Review periodically the HR procedures and policies to be up to date with the market and legal developments.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s in Psychology or Organizational Psychology.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience HR and Recruitment
- Flexible style and willingness to “roll up your sleeves and get it done”.
- Good knowledge and experience in organization effectiveness, team dynamics, leadership development, management/leadership effectiveness and facilitation.
- Excellent teambuilding skills, communications and unquestioned integrity, experience to effectively address sensitive HR issues.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and flexible environment while also working independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience of organization and business understanding by the demonstration of partnering with the business to understand the business priorities routines and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team while being able to take full ownership for assigned projects.
- Knowledge of human resources including employee relations issues, plans related to enhancing diversity, performance management policies, as well as basic federal and state employment laws.
- Ability to travel domestically and abroad.
- Ability to manage conflicts, confrontations, and disagreements in a positive manner.
